Salted Chocolate Tart

For The Base:

154g Oreos
50 g soft butter
1/2 teaspoon smoked sea salt

Method:

Crush Oreos until bread crumb consistency.
Melt butter and add to the biscuits, mix in salt.
Press in prepared tart tin and chill in the fridge.

For The Base:

100 g dark 70% chocolate
25 g corn flour
60ml  milk
500 ml double cream 50g cocoa
2 tsp instant Expresso power
75 g caster sugar
2 tsp olive oil
3/4 tsp smoked salt flakes
2 eggs

Method:

Finally chop the chocolate.
In a jug mix corn flour flour and milk until smooth.
Add eggs and beat until blended and thick.
In a pot, on low heat warm up milk but do not boil. Add chocolate and cocoa, mix until melted.
Add espresso powder, olive oil and salt and mix.
Take the pot and allow to cool slightly, add egg and corn flour mix and whisk till blended.
Pour mixture on chilled base and bake for 40 min at 150 degrees.
Allow to cool and then serve
