Jesper & San-Mari Nilsson
This week we are joined by chef Jesper Nilsson and his talented wife San-Mari. Jesper’s restaurant, ëlgr is an award winning modern, casual and multi-cultural dining experience in Kloof Street in Cape Town.
Jesper’s shares that he takes inspiration from his Nordic background and combines it with his culinary experience from South Africa. He takes pride in craftsmanship and strives to create dishes that are authentic, trying to understand not only the flavours but also the cultural background of each component in the dish.
