Tshepiso's Corn Steam Bread

Corn Steam Bread

6c Cake flour
6Tbsp sugar
1tsp salt
1 Sachet yeast
4 Tbsp Melted butter
200ml Milk
Lukewarm water
1/2c Canned Corn in brine

  1. Mix the dry ingredients
  2. Add butter, milk and enough water to form a dough and knead for 8 – 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. Add the corn and knead until incorporated
  4. Rest for 1 hour until double in size
  5. Separate dough into ramekins and steam for 30- 45 minutes

Spinach

Chopped Spinach
Onion
Crushed garlic
Potatoes, cubed
Aromat

  1. Sauté onion, add garlic until onion is softened.
  2. Add Spinach, Aromat and potatoes and cook on low heat until potatoes are cooked

Chakalaka

Carrots
Onion
Seasoning
Baked beans

  1. Fry the onions and carrots and add Seasoning
  2. Add baked beans

Chicken

Chicken pieces
Seasoning

  1. Season Chicken and grill in preheated oven for 40 minutes
