Charné's Melkbrood and Num Num Jam
Melkbrood
600g flour
40g sugar
40g butter
10g salt
16g yeast
5ml Royal Baking Powder
320g warm milk
- Mix all together until it forms a soft beautiful dough, proof the dough for at least a hour.
- Shape the dough into the shaped you would like, proof again, and bake at 180°c
Num Num Jam
300g num nums
1 cup water
2 tbsp lemon juice
4 cups water
- Boil all together and mash the num nums, reduce until its thickened
Cheese Spread
1/2 cup marscapone cheese
1/4cup ricotta cheese
1 vanilla pod
1tbsp honey
- Mix all together and drizzle extra honey over
