INGREDIENTS

Cupcakes

  • 1¼ cup flour
  • 1¼ tsp baking powder 
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup Clover unsalted butter, room temp
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temp
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract 
  • ½ cup Clover maas

Filling

  • 500ml Clover Full Cream Milk
  • 1 can Clover Condensed Milk
  • 25g Clover Unsalted Butter 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 3 tbsp cornflour 
  • 2 tbsp sugar 
  • 1 tsp vanilla

HOW TO MAKE

For cupcakes

  • Preheat oven at 180°C
  • Cream butter and sugar on high on a standmix or handmixer until light and creamy. 
  • In a separate bowl, sift all the dry ingredients. 
  • FOLD dry ingredients to creamed butter and suger MIXTURE. DO NOT OVER MIX. 
  • Add in your Clover Maas
  • Line your cupcake pan with cupcake cups, fill them about ¾ full. 
  • Bake at 180°C for at 15 minutes. 
  • Allow the cupcakes to cool for at least 10-15 minutes. 

For filling

  • Add milk, condensed milk and butter into a saucepan on low. Allow the mixture to simmer until butter is melted. 
  • In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, corn flour, sugar and vanilla extract until all incorporated 
  • And egg-corn flour-sugar-vanilla mixture into the saucepan with the condensed milk mixture. 
  • Keep heat on medium and whisk until the mixture is thickened. 
  • Remove from heat and cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
