Fayruza's Masterclass Monkey Bread


5 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar or white
1/4 p butter
2 pkts yeast
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs xl
3 cups whole milk


  1. Add dry ingredients to bowl
  2. Rub in butter until mixture resembles crumbs
  3. Then ensure milk is lukewarm
  4. Add in 3 eggs well beaten
  5. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until u have a smooth elastic dough..
  6. This process can be done by hand or kitchen aid..
  7. Rub lightly with a little bit of oil..
  8. Cover dough with cling and prove for at least 30 to 40 mins or until dough has almost doubled in volume
  9. Then knock down dough and divide into six balls..
  10. Mix individual spices into each piece of dough
  11. Shape little balls and place into well greased baking sheets
  12. Egg wash and garnish or sprinkle over toppings
  13. Allow to prove for at least 15 to 20 mins
  14. Bake in preheated oven.. 180 degrees

  6. Smoked paprika
  7. Coriande
