Macadamia Nut and Citrus Cake

This is makes 2 layers of a 6 inch cake pan

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups of Flour  
1 1/2 cups of Sugar
1 1/4 cup of Parmalat Milk 
180g Softened Butter
1/2 Cup Toasted Macadamia nuts
Zest of 2 oranges 🍊 
4 Eggs 
1tsp Vanilla essence 
2 1/2 tsp Royal Baking Powder 

Method:

1. Preheat Oven @180 Degrees 
2. Line your baking pans with grease proof paper 
3. Sift all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl 
4. Start by creaming the butter in a sugar using the KitchenAid stand mixer 
5. Add 1 egg at a time and mixture is light and fluffy. 6. Stop beating the mixture and add the Vanilla essence and Parmalat Milk  
7. Add the wet into the dry ingredients and combine using a whisk or a spatula, be careful not to over mix
8. Add the Toasted Macadamia Nuts and Citrus Zest and combine using a spatula.
9. Pour the mixture onto the cake pans and bake at 180 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
