EPISODE 7: THE BURGER BATTLE
This week on The Taste Master Junior, our top 7 contestants are treated to a burger-making masterclass by judge Fritz Schoon and then challenged to make the perfect homemade burger from scratch!
Will it be a bun fight or will they achieve burger perfection? Tune into SABC 2 at 7pm on Tuesday, 10 Sep, to see who comes out on top!
Get a second serving Wednesdays at 10m and Sundays at 4pm on SABC 2.
I am very excited with a sense of scepticism. How good can these kids really be? I suppose with the free access to world class baking and cooking they should be well informed and exposed. In my heart, I truly believe this is going to be a very pleasant surprise and heaps of fun
For season 5 I will be looking for excellence in execution of techniques and authenticity.

I love that we’re doing a Junior version of The Taste Master, it’s a chance to discover the untapped talent of our future baking stars! There are so many talented young bakers in SA so I can’t wait for them to show us their skills
For Season 5 I will be looking for contestants to incorporate their personalities into their bakes and showcase their baking skills.
