Toppings:
Ingredients
Leftover lamb shank (sliced up or shredded)
Tomato paste
Mix of Clover Gouda and Mozzarella cheese
Fresh herbs
Garlic
Olive oil
red onion
Bell peppers
oregano spice
Salt and pepper
Assembly:
- Shape your dough in a round shape and leave to proof.
- Slice the lamb shank and add to the pot to reduce the liquid in the meat and season with garlic and herbs, fry for 5-10 min. Do the same with the sauce from the lamb shank
- Slice mushrooms, red onion and bell peppers and season with oregano spice . Fry for 2-3 min and do not overcook the veggies
- Roll out the pizza dough .
- Spread a layer of tomato paste and lamb shank sauce , leaving a small border around the edges.
- Add sliced lamb shank on top of the sauce then after the veggies (mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions)
- Sprinkle Gouda and mozzarella cheese.
- Add some fresh herbs.
- Bake for 2-3 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
